Nicole Wagner: The Psychology of Authentic Truth

In this intimate conversation, Laura sits down with her longtime friend and clinical social worker Nicole Wagner to explore what it really means to heal. From DBT and IFS to mindfulness and “wise mind,” this episode unpacks the practical tools that help us move out of all-or-nothing thinking and back into clarity, connection, and self-trust.

They trace Nicole’s path into therapy — shaped by caregiving, art, and a deep curiosity about people’s stories — and examine what brings people into therapy in the first place: the longing to be seen, heard, and understood. At the heart of the conversation is a powerful truth: we are often overwhelmed not by reality, but by the noise of our own thinking.

If you’ve ever wondered how to communicate your needs, navigate relationship limits, or reconnect with your authentic self, this episode offers grounded, practical insight.

Come Out of the Spiritual Closet

In this episode, Laura speaks directly to the loneliness that often arises on the spiritual path. There are institutions and communities for religion and science. But for the explorers in the middle – the ones navigating meditation, the Akashic Records, yoga, psychedelics, and self-inquiry – there can be a strange stigma. A sense that you are “weird” for wanting to look at life through multiple lenses.

If you’ve felt isolated for wanting a deeper conversation about who you are and why you’re here, this episode is a reminder that your questions are valid and your curiosity matters. That loneliness is not a problem – it is courage. And you are not alone in that exploration.

What is An Akashic Record Reading?

What actually happens in an Akashic Record reading? In this episode of The Art of Authenticity, Laura Coe walks through what the Records are, how a reading works, and what kind of guidance this ancient system is designed to offer.

This conversation is an introduction for anyone curious about the Akashic field, what a reading can genuinely offer, and how this modality supports growth, understanding, and meaningful insight rather than fortune-telling.

You’ll learn how the Akashic Records function as an energetic archive of your soul’s history, how specific questions shape the information you receive, and why the Records focus less on prediction and more on clarity, healing, and alignment with your soul’s intent.

Kevin Kaiser – Living as Spirit in the Human World

In this episode of The Art of Authenticity, Laura sits down with longtime friend Kevin Kaiser for a grounded, unscripted conversation about identity, awareness, and the quiet pull toward truth that many people feel but struggle to name.

Kevin shares his lifelong relationship with inquiry — from growing up in an evangelical environment to decades of philosophical study, contemplative practice, and direct experience. Together, they explore why so many of us feel a persistent sense of “not enough,” how spiritual seeking can quietly turn into another form of chasing, and why peak experiences don’t actually solve the question we’re asking.   This episode moves toward a simple but challenging invitation: stop trying to get somewhere else.

Through stories of silence, darkness retreats, identity collapse, and everyday life, Kevin points back to one essential inquiry — Who am I? Not as a concept, but as something to be noticed directly. If you’ve ever felt pulled toward spirituality, purpose, or self-understanding but unsure where to begin, this conversation offers a clear place to start.

What Are the Akashic Records and Why This Ancient Tool Matters Today?

What are the Akashic Records and how can Akashic Record readings help you?

In this episode of The Art of Authenticity, Laura explains the Akashic Records in clear, practical terms. The Records are described as an ancient informational field that holds the complete history of your soul – every thought, action, lifetime, and the original soul plan created before incarnation.

Laura explores how this field is accessed, how guides help translate what’s most relevant, and why Akashic Record readings only reveal what serves your highest good. The conversation moves beyond mysticism into lived understanding, showing how the Records support alignment, authentic decision-making, and clarity around why you’re here.

Sat Dharam Kaur - Compassion, Awakening and Soul Service

What does it actually mean to heal — and can we heal completely?

In this episode of The Art of Authenticity, Laura sits down with Sat Dharam Kaur to explore trauma, identity, and the deeper mechanics of healing. Drawing from her personal history, naturopathic medicine, Kundalini Yoga, and Compassionate Inquiry, she offers a clear and grounded perspective on why suffering persists — and how it can unwind.

This conversation looks directly at identification, the mind’s role in pain, and what happens when awareness replaces narrative. Together, they examine purpose, healing without self-fixation, and why transformation doesn’t require perfection — only presence.

Why The Art of Authenticity Is Back

After a long pause, The Art of Authenticity returns. In this episode, Laura shares why she stepped away — and what called her back. What began as an exploration of authenticity through mind, heart, and lived experience expanded into something deeper: A multi-year journey into the Akashic Records challenged everything she thought she had “figured out” and revealed a systematic, teachable way of accessing a deeper knowing of self.

This conversation traces that evolution. From success and self-inquiry, to skepticism and direct experience, to discovering a method that others could reliably access for themselves. This is not about belief. It’s about experience. Laura shares how this work moved from private curiosity to global teaching — and why the podcast is continuing as a space to explore the embodied, lived experience of the infinite nature of self. A new chapter begins here.

Rupert Spira: You Are the Happiness You Seek

In this episode of The Art of Authenticity, Rupert Spira, teacher, spiritual leader, and writer, teaches us about the nature of reality and the source of lasting peace and happiness. He explains the direct path and non-dual philosophy, as well as elaborating on his latest book, You Are The Happiness You Seek.

After spending twenty years immersed in the teachings of classical Advaita Vedanta, he met his teacher, Francis Lucille, who introduced him to the Direct Path approach whereby one may recognise the source of peace and happiness in oneself.

Rupert has written several books and holds regular meetings and retreats online, as well as in Europe and the United States. He is also a noted potter, trained in the British Studio Pottery school, with work in public and private collections.

More About Rupert Spira

From an early age Rupert Spira was deeply interested in the nature of reality. At the age of seventeen he learnt to meditate, and began studying and practicing the teachings of the classical Advaita Vedanta tradition under the guidance of Dr. Francis Roles and Shantananda Saraswati, the Shankaracharya of the north of India, which he continued for the next twenty years. During this time he immersed himself in the teachings of P. D. Ouspensky, Krishnamurti, Rumi, Ramana Maharshi, Nisargadatta and Robert Adams, until he met Francis Lucille in 1997.

Francis introduced Rupert to the Direct Path teachings of Atmananda Krishna Menon, Jean Klein and the tantric tradition of Kashmir Shaivism, and more importantly, to the simple means by which one might recognise one’s innate peace and happiness.

Rupert lives in the UK and holds regular meetings and retreats online in the UK, Europe and the United States. In his meetings, Rupert explores the perennial, non-dual understanding that lies at the heart of all the great religious and spiritual traditions, such as Advaita Vedanta, Kashmir Shaivism, Hinduism, Buddhism, Mystical Christianity, Sufism and Zen.

This contemporary, experiential approach involves silent meditation, guided meditation and conversation, and requires no affiliation to any particular religious or spiritual tradition. All that is required is an interest in the essential nature of experience, and in the longing for love, peace and happiness around which most of our lives revolve.

Rupert is author of: The Transparency of Things – Contemplating the Nature of Experience (2008); Presence, in two volumes – The Art of Peace and Happiness and The Intimacy of All Experience (2012); The Light of Pure Knowing – Thirty Meditations on the Essence of Non-Duality (2014); The Ashes of Love (2016); Transparent Body, Luminous World – The Tantric Yoga of Sensation and Perception (2017); The Nature of Consciousness – Essays on the Unity of Mind and Matter (2017); The Essence of Meditation Vol. I – Being Aware of Being Aware (2017); A Meditation on I Am (2021); Being Myself (2021); and You Are the Happiness You Seek (2022).
